Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grand Valley). They put the hurt on the Conneaut Spartans with a sharp 9-1 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Grand Valley, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Grand Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four matchups. As for Conneaut, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-14-2.

Coming up, Grand Valley will take on John F. Kennedy Catholic in a tournament on Thursday. As for Conneaut, they will be taking part in a tournament against Poland Seminary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
