Basketball Game Preview: Fulshear Chargers vs. Alief Elsik Rams

The Fulshear Chargers will face off against the Alief Elsik Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Alief Elsik is hoping to do what George Ranch couldn't on Friday: put an end to Fulshear's winning streak, which now stands at five games. Fulshear was the clear victor by a 71-49 margin over George Ranch. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Longhorns are ranked 816th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Alief Elsik, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 50-19 victory over George Ranch. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Fulshear has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Alief Elsik, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.
