Bellmont is 6-1 against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Braves will venture away from home to square off against the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Bellmont will be strutting in after a victory while Fort Wayne Bishop Luers will be coming in after a loss.

Bellmont not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 14th (when they won 23-6). Their pitcher stepped up to hand New Haven an 11-0 shutout. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

Finnley Godsey and Emily Bleke did most of the damage at the plate: Godsey went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Bleke went 1-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Bleke has posted since back in May of 2024. Onalee Krueckeberg was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bellmont kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger.

Julia Spoltman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-10. As for Bellmont, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Bellmont took their victory against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers in their previous meeting back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 11-4 score. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
