South Lake won the last time they faced South Sumter and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-18.

Jade Bedingfield paced South Lake's offense, picking up ten kills. Bedingfield got some help from Iris Trowbridge and her 17 assists. Emily Caldwell controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

South Lake has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

South Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lake Buena Vista on the 19th. As for South Sumter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Dunnellon on the 19th.
