After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, West Vigo brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cascade Cadets a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. That six goal margin sets a new team best for West Vigo this season.

They hit Cascade with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sinders Savannah (2), Delaney Marrs (2), and Tessa Fern (2).

The win got West Vigo back to even at 4-4. As for Cascade, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Vigo will head out to challenge South Vermillion at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cascade, they will venture away from home to square off against Greencastle at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
