Pembroke Pines Charter suffered their closest defeat since February 20th on Friday. They fell just short of the Palmetto Panthers by a score of 5-3. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pembroke Pines Charter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dallas Searcy, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Searcy has posted since back in February.

Pembroke Pines Charter now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Palmetto, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-14.
