Mount Juliet faced Alcoa in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Golden Bears fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Golden Bears couldn't push the score so high this time.

Chloe Younggren made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Mount Juliet's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7-1. As for Alcoa, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2-1.
