Softball Recap: Austin Packers vs. Owatonna Huskies
Austin extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-2. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owatonna Huskies. On Owatonna's side, Jess Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits.
