Softball Recap: Inman Find Success

Inman had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Little River on Friday. Inman's pitcher stepped up to hand Little River a 13-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Inman Teutons in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now won four in a row.

Lyla Levin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Levin was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

In other batting news, Inman let Olivia Bradley and Marlee Ballard run wild. Bradley scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Ballard scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Ballard a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Allison Schrag, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
