Recap: Delaware Valley Friends vs. Woodlynde

Delaware Valley Friends won the last time they faced Woodlynde, and things went their way on Thursday too. Delaware Valley Friends came out on top against Woodlynde by a score of 53-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Delaware Valley Friends.

It was another big night for Brandon Thomas, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Delaware Valley Friends' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Stockmal, who scored seven points.

Delaware Valley Friends' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Woodlynde, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

Delaware Valley Friends will head out on the road to face off against Pine Forge Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodlynde will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kimberton Waldorf at 3:45 p.m. on January 23rd.
