Softball Recap: Queen City Comes Up Short

Queen City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 23-1 to the Hooks Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-2 back in March.

Queen City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Hooks, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Queen City and Hooks will both be playing Liberty-Eylau the next time they take the field. Queen City will host Liberty-Eylau at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Hooks will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
