Volleyball Recap: Dobyns-Bennett Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Dobyns-Bennett couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arlington Tigers on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

This is the second loss in a row for Dobyns-Bennett and nudges their season record down to 22-10. As for Arlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-9 record this season.

Dobyns-Bennett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arlington has already played their next match (against Science Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
