After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Genesee Valley, Andover was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Hinsdale Central Bobcats 13-7. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three games by six runs or more so far this season.

With the victory, Andover broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6. As for Hinsdale Central, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Andover will take on Alfred-Almond at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hinsdale Central, they will square off against Mount Morris at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
