Basketball Game Preview: Sebring Blue Streaks vs. Port Charlotte Pirates

The Sebring Blue Streaks just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Port Charlotte Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Sebring took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They strolled past Lake Wales with points to spare, taking the game 74-57.

Kaleb Nobles had a dynamite game for Sebring, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Nobles a new career-high in blocks (four). Keiden Hester was another key player, putting up 17 points and three steals.

Sebring was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port Charlotte). They took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging an 84-27 win over Mariner. The victory was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on five straight.

Sebring pushed their record up to 5-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for Port Charlotte, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Sebring came up short against Port Charlotte when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 71-59. Can Sebring avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
