Baseball Recap: West Hardin Comes Up Short

West Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Big Sandy Wildcats. If the Oilers were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Big Sandy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season.

While West Hardin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
