Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kerman). They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Immanuel Eagles on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Xavier Montalvo was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025. Steven Luna also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Kerman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Kerman's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Immanuel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.

Kerman will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
