Basketball Recap: Ethan Comes Up Short

If Ethan was riding high fresh off their 75-44 takedown of Mitchell Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ethan Rustlers had to suffer through a 58-31 loss at the hands of the Howard Tigers. The Rustlers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Ethan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Howard, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Ethan will challenge James Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Howard, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Oldham-Ramona/R at 6:15 p.m. The timing is sure in Howard's favor as the squad sits on 11 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Oldham-Ramona/R has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
