Volleyball Game Preview: Gateway Panthers vs. Gainesville Hurricanes

The Gateway Panthers will take on the Gainesville Hurricanes at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Gateway comes in on eight and Gainesville on four.

Gateway is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over John Carroll Catholic.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 19-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Gainesville made easy work of Jensen Beach on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Gainesville never let Jensen Beach on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-20.

Gainesville's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Gateway, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.
