Eastern Christian HomeSchool had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes as they made off with a 10-3 win. Considering the Trailblazers have won five matches by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Eastern Christian HomeSchool pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Cape Hatteras, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern Christian HomeSchool will face off against Greenville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. After both having extra time off, Cape Hatteras and Columbia will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on May 1. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.93 runs per game on average), something the Hurricanes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
