Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Natchez). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Jefferson County Tigers 74-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.
Natchez's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daylan Haywood, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 16 points in addition to eight assists and five rebounds. Haywood has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Anthony Givens, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 21 points and seven boards.
