With a playoff win on the line, Atlantic Collegiate Academy rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the East Clarendon Wolverines. Winning may never get old, but the Armada sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

ELI CHOWNING spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on JACKSON MEYERS, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy's victory bumped their record up to 28-3. As for East Clarendon, they moved to 22-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Atlantic Collegiate Academy nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
