Softball Recap: Rancho Christian Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Rancho Christian took on Citrus Hill on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Hawks, falling 20-1. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Rancho Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Whitman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Rancho Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Citrus Hill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rancho Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Perris at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Citrus Hill will square off against rival Moreno Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
