Edison had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Weston Ranch Cougars 12-2 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Vikings needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Edison got a great performance from Alicia Leiva as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Leiva has posted since back in February.
