Basketball Recap: Eureka Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Eureka put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Del Norte Warriors 55-36. That's more bragging rights for the Loggers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Eureka's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elijah Estrada led the charge by putting up 17 points. That's the most points Estrada has posted since back in December of 2023. Ryder Mitchell was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards.

Eureka's record is now 3-0. As for Del Norte, they moved to 4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Eureka didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-53 victory against South Medford on the 12th. Del Norte has also already played their next contest, a 66-45 loss against Rancho Cotate on the 12th.
