Basketball Recap: Camden-Frontier Comes Up Short

After flying high against Tekonsha last Tuesday, Camden-Frontier came back down to earth. The Camden-Frontier Redskins were beaten by the Hillsdale Academy Colts 61-29 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-28 back in January.

Camden-Frontier lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Matthew Draheim, who posted four points and five boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in December of 2024. Braxton Gary also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Camden-Frontier has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. Hillsdale Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Camden-Frontier will challenge North Adams-Jerome at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hillsdale Academy, they will take on Waldron at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Waldron comes in on six and Hillsdale Academy on three.
