Northeastern has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hagerstown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Northeastern Knights will take on the Hagerstown Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Northeastern will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Northeastern will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Connersville, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Northeastern enjoyed a cozy 56-42 victory over Connersville on Friday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Spartans are ranked 214th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northeastern's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Payne, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam White, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Hagerstown unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastern Hancock.

Northeastern pushed their record up to 22-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hagerstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.

Everything came up roses for Northeastern against Hagerstown when the teams last played back in February, as the team secured a 75-39 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northeastern since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
