Mckenzie Ortega put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April on Wednesday. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
