Basketball Recap: Chicago University Takes a Loss

Chicago University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Leo Lions and fell 73-41. While losing is never fun, the Maroons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 427th, while the Lions are ranked 151st).

Chicago University's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Leo, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Chicago University will take on Lake Forest Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Leo, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Francis de Sales at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
