Recap: Largo Lions vs. Potomac Wolverines
The Largo Lions won against the Potomac Wolverines last Tuesday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Largo enjoyed a cozy 73-57 victory over Potomac. The victory was nothing new for Largo as they're now sitting on six straight.
It was another big night for Cameron Ward, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Largo's points. Jalen Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Largo's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Potomac, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Largo will face off against Fairmont Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Fairmont Heights' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Potomac, they will head out on the road to face off against Friendly at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maryland (Potomac is ranked 182nd, while Friendly is ranked 202nd).
