Basketball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers, falling 97-43. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Chargers are ranked first).

Madison now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Sioux Falls Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will take on Chamberlain at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sioux Falls Christian, they will face off against Tea at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Sioux Falls Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
