Basketball Recap: Wheaton Takes a Loss

Wheaton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Greenfield Wildcats and fell 74-41. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 70-24 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wheaton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Greenfield, their victory ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.

Wheaton has already played their next match, a 70-64 loss against Golden City on the 7th. As for Greenfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-47 win against Jasper on the 7th.
