Basketball Recap: Clements Takes a Loss

Clements was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Colbert County Indians 84-55. The Colts lost against the Indians in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 60-55 score last time.

Clements' loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Colbert County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clements will welcome Lauderdale County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Colbert County, they will face off against Rogers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Colbert County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Rogers likes a good challenge.
