Thrall had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Miley Pokorny sure wasn't going down easily. Pokorny wasn't messing around, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with five or more strikeouts.

Even though Pokorny couldn't lead Thrall over Lexington, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
