Basketball Recap: Jenks Trojans vs. Booker T. Washington Hornets
Jenks was the 76-67 winner over Booker T. Washington when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Jenks Trojans took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Booker T. Washington Hornets on Saturday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Booker T. Washington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joc Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Barron Harris Jr., who went 7 for 12 en route to 16 points plus two steals.
Jenks' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Booker T. Washington, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
