Basketball Recap: Comeaux Comes Up Short

Comeaux suffered their closest loss since December 19, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the West St. Mary Wolfpack by a score of 54-52. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolfpack earlier this season, when they won 62-42.

Comeaux has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season. As for West St. Mary, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Comeaux will challenge Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West St. Mary, they will face off against Houma Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
