Basketball Recap: Bells Takes a Loss

Bells has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell just short of the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers by a score of 43-41 on Thursday. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Lebanon Trail's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zade Shawwa, who posted 15 points. Michael Molstad was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Bells' loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Lebanon Trail, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing McKinney Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Bells will head out to face McKinney Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, while Lebanon Trail will play them later in the day, at 8:00 a.m.
