Soccer Recap: Pottstown Comes Up Short

Pottstown lost against Upper Merion Area on September 5th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Vikings, falling 11-1. Pottstown were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Nicole Castillo, who's now up to two this season.

Pottstown is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9. As for Upper Merion Area, they moved to 4-10-2 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Coincidentally, Pottstown and Upper Merion Area will both be playing Phoenixville the next time they take the pitch. The Trojans will host the Phantoms at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Vikings will host them at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
