Baseball Recap: Springlake-Earth Starts Season with Win Against Boys Ranch

Springlake-Earth gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Boys Ranch Roughriders a 15-0 shutout. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolverines as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Boys Ranch is on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Springlake-Earth will take on Panhandle Christian Home Educators at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boys Ranch, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Memphis at 11:15 a.m. on Friday.
