Recap: Fairfax Stampede vs. Metro Tech Knights
In what's become a running theme this season, the Fairfax Stampede gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 61-31 win over Metro Tech. That's another feather in the cap for Fairfax, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Melanie Romero, who scored 29 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Ajana Kenyatta was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Fairfax's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Metro Tech, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-16.
Fairfax does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Metro Tech also has no future games currently scheduled.
