Thorp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Owen-Withee Blackhawks 53-24. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Thorp's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Owen-Withee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Coming up, Thorp will take on McDonell Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will need to watch out since the Macks have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Owen-Withee, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Neillsville at 7:00 p.m.
