Silver Creek is a perfect 10-0 against Pine Valley Central since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Black Knights will challenge the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

While Silver Creek's victory against Gowanda wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Black Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 win over the Panthers on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Black Knights have posted since May 15, 2025.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pine Valley Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Brocton with a sharp 10-4 win on Tuesday. The Panthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 31, 2025 (when they won 17-3).

Madilynn Robertson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Carlie Ward was incredible, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Brooke McCoy also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Pine Valley Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Pine Valley Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Silver Creek, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Silver Creek got the 'W' in their previous meeting on April 14th against Pine Valley Central by a conclusive 10-1 score. Do the Black Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
