Volleyball Recap: Lake Forest Academy Comes Up Short

Lake Forest Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wheaton Academy Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Caxys of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16.

Lake Forest Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wheaton Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Lake Forest Academy will take on Cristo Rey St. Martin in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Wheaton Academy, they will face off against Timothy Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
