Softball Recap: Goshen Central Gladiators vs. Minisink Valley Warriors
Goshen Central dropped their record down to 5-2 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Minisink Valley Warriors, falling 10-3. If the Gladiators were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to the Warriors when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Goshen Central saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Freiberger, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That home run was Freiberger's first of the season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goshen Central will head out to face off against Monticello at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Gladiators are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Minisink Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Valley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
