Basketball Game Preview: Brainerd Panthers vs. Marion County Warriors

Brainerd is 1-6 against Marion County since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Brainerd Panthers will square off against the Marion County Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Brainerd is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 45-31 to Hixson.

Meanwhile, Marion County took a blow against LaFayette on Saturday, falling 61-26. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brainerd's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Marion County, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Brainerd might still be hurting after the 44-23 loss they got from Marion County in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Brainerd avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
