Baseball Recap: Kankakee Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Kankakee's offense. They came up short against the Springfield Southeast Spartans on Saturday, falling 11-0. The Kays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kankakee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexander Grill, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Kankakee's loss dropped their record down to 10-21. As for Springfield Southeast, their record is now 12-20.

Looking ahead, Kankakee will face off against Morris at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Springfield Southeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
