Crenshaw Christian Academy is a perfect 3-0 against South Choctaw Academy since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cougars will face off against the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Crenshaw Christian Academy has given up an average of 26 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Crenshaw Christian Academy challenged Wilcox Academy on Friday. The Cougars were beaten by the Wildcats 34-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Choctaw Academy). They blew past Bessemer Academy 62-14 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Choctaw Academy.

Crenshaw Christian Academy better keep an eye on Gage Adams. He was instrumental in South Choctaw Academy's win, rushing for 87 yards and one score on only 11 carries. Adams also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making three total tackles.

South Choctaw Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 489 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

South Choctaw Academy's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. In that department, Alex Cruz was the leader with two sacks.

South Choctaw Academy's record now sits at 6-4. As for Crenshaw Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Crenshaw Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against South Choctaw Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2021, sneaking past 21-18. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
