Basketball Game Preview: Lake Creek Lions vs. Huntsville Hornets

Lake Creek is 0-6 against Huntsville since December of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Lake Creek Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huntsville Hornets at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Lake Creek slipped by Montgomery 37-36. The 37-point effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Huntsville didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Rudder on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 47-41 victory.

Huntsville has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Lake Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-14.
