Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Scotland). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Red Springs Red Devils  a   23-0 shutout  on Saturday. The Fighting Scots are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 18 straight.
Scotland got a  massive  performance out of  Dawson Blue, who  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with one  home run, four  runs,  and two  stolen bases. Blue has been hot for a while, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last 12 times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addison Johnson, who  went 4-for-5 with six  RBI, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs.
 Scotland  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Scotland's victory was  their ninth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 19-1. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.1 runs on average over those games. As for Red Springs,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-18.
 Scotland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Red Springs, they will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Bladen at 6:00  p.m.  on  the 29th. The Knights will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last.
