After a string of five wins, Burlington's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cheney Cardinals. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in November of 2019.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16.

Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 29-7. As for Cheney, they have been performing well recently as they've won 19 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.

Burlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cheney, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Nickerson on the 20th.
