After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Webster Thomas, Hilton was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Penfield Patriots. That's more bragging rights for the Cadets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hilton's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Penfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hilton beat the Patriots by a score of 7-4 later that day.
